You need to be protected on all fronts during a divorce case. Nowadays, this certainly includes a thorough digital defense.
First, if you think anything on any of your devices can be used against you, then stop using the devices immediately, and copy specifically recognized user-created, uploaded or downloaded files to a removable drive.
Next, replace your phone and do not connect the new phone to the old phone or copy the data from the old to new phone. If you must continue communicating with anything that could be used against you, then switch to a pre-paid (burner) phone for those purposes. But if your divorce case requires you to preserve all electronic evidence, then just refrain from this altogether. Also, replace every password you have with a random one your spouse or others cannot figure out, do not ever connect to wifi that your spouse can access too and enable all security features.
Also, replace your computer hard drive and do not connect the old one or copy the data from the old to new one. Again, replace every password you have with a random one your spouse or others cannot figure out, do not ever connect to wifi that your spouse can access too and enable all security features.
